We are children of the light! Yes, often in this world it’s hard to believe, but we were born to shine.
This world wears us down and seduces us to seek our base, wanton desires. We value money over family; fame and recognition over love; and this desire brings up the walls. Before we realise it we’re building our own temple, around us, an island of disconnect. We are the centre, and we deserve to be loved, adored, appreciated, accepted and recognised. But with these high walls no-one can reach us! The empty promises of this world fail to materialise, and we are rejected, abandoned and even abused. Why? Because our seeking has taken us to the wrong place. Buried in the darkness our lives are empty. We hurt. And the only way to get some release from that hurt, is to hurt others.
But we are children of the light. There is another way. To ground in the love of our Maker. To have a relationship with Him filled with so much love, we cannot but let it overspill us till all we can do is look at others through these new eyes. It’s no longer about what I need to find and receive, but what I give. And in giving, it comes back 10 fold, a hundred fold.
We don’t need gurus to teach us how to do this, or rituals or cards to direct us to this place. It’s not a place found like that. The light we hold is our God particle. It’s nourished by faith and worship. It’s nourished by being authentically you, in front of your maker who loves you.
Yes we all carry hurt and shame. Yes we have all done things we’d rather not remember. Yes too, none of us feel worthy. But that doesn’t matter, He wants and calls you anyway. If we tried to earn this love, it wouldn’t be possible. If we tried to buy it, well….. isn’t that why the world is hurting so much today.
Through standing in the presence of our maker, we get to stand firm and say we’re sorry. We get to cast the darkness of abandonment out. In trust, we get to absorb a love and peace that lasts. It fills our bodies and souls with a love and light that can only spill out and shine.
Yes- life will continue to be challenging. Life will be hard. We’re all broken and surrounded by brokenness. But once you accept that the one who made you loves you without condition; once you accept that you are capable of being loved; that worthlessness and insecurity departs. Those walls fall down, and you be come that ball of inferno that can only shine for The One who made us.
It’s time to put the tarot’s aside. It’s time to disconnect from the gurus who lead you down endless paths with empty promises, who blind us further and dry up your finances. It’s time to turn away from that endless seeking for instant gratification, and short term spiritual nourishment. Only one nourishment lasts, and guess what? It’s free! And it’s freely available to everyone! Your Maker seeks you, to love you, to serve you. He will never abandon you and you need never feel lost and alone. He has known and fashioned you before time began. He knows your heart better that you do. Come and find rest in Him, the One who made us.. the Father, the Prince of Peace and the friend. Come, Children of the light. Claim it, it’s all yours! Come!
“For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness of peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you and his glory will be seen upon you.
